I ♥ Audrey Tautou

In the past two weeks, I've seen two more of her films. So that means I've seen...

Amelie
Happenstance
He Love Me He Loves Me Not
Venus Beauty Institute
A Very Long Engagement
Dirty Pretty Things
Not On The Lips
God Is Great

And I stumbled upon the interesting little fact that she shares my birthday, only she's seven years older.

not on the lips??? i havent seen that one!!!! was it good?? i want to see it now, tell me if it was good. i also want to see pretty devils.... and anything else she is in. i hated god is great though. i watched it with brit and mike and there was seriously probably 10 minutes left of the movie and we were like, um, nothing can happen in the next 10 minutes that will make it worth the torture of watching it so we shut it off. even audrey couldnt save that movie. does this mean youve seen more audrey movies than i have? :( now im sad. NO! you havent! because ive seen l'auberge espagnol.... it hardly counts because shes only in it for 2 minutes but still!! i want to buy dirty pretty things really badly. then i will own 7 of her movies. im a little crazy. but she is the love of my life. im going to paris tomorrow and i might have to stalk her. im having my mom send me my movies so that i can make people here watch them and experience the glory that is audrey. oh god. i love her. alright. im done.

Not On the Lips is a musical. It's not that great. I'm not sure if it's Audrey actually doing the singing, but I kinda doubt it. If she is singing... well then I don't care how dull the film is, I love it. And since it's a musical, some parts are a little harder to keep up with the subtitles.

I actually kinda liked God is Great, but only because of the topics it covers.... y'know, seeking out an identity for yourself and changing for another person and yadda yadda. You really didn't miss much in the ending. Francois pretty much askes Michele for another go and she seems reluctant. Then it says "To be continued." I guess they wanted it this way so they could leave enough clues for their relationship to go any which way, but left it up for the audience to decide. So in other words, the ending friggin' irritated me.

You should definitely go seek her out! Do it dammit it! Or else you'll regret it for life, and I would too knowing that you had a chance. And you definitely have to make everyone watch her films. Y'know I'm always telling everyone to do so and often lend out Amelie. *frowns* I'm in desperate need to get my Tautou collection going.
